Mechanical, electrical and public health work carries a large share of the project value, most of the risk, and almost all of the items that get missed. Everything here is written for that work specifically, rather than adapted from general construction with the systems renamed.
Each course starts at the drawings and the specification and carries through to the number you submit, or the position you have to defend once the job is running. Who they are for
Electrical, mechanical and plumbing estimators; building services quantity surveyors; QSs moving across from general construction; trainees a year or two into a commercial role; and tradespeople moving into estimating. The material assumes you can read a drawing and nothing beyond that.
If you have priced services for years, the value tends to sit in the disciplines nobody formally taught you: qualifications, risk, tender assembly, and the contract mechanisms that decide whether you keep the margin you priced. Every course page lists its contents in full, so you can judge that before paying rather than after.
One course, or all of them
Buying a course outright is the better deal if you work in one discipline. It costs less than a few months of membership and it stays yours whatever happens next.
